MS Sp. z o.o. has received funding under the "R&D μGrants for enterprises" program, co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Regional Operational Programme for the Pomeranian Voivodeship for the years 2014-2020, Priority Axis I. Commercialization of Knowledge, Measure: 01.01. Expansion through innovation.

Project objective: To develop a collection of leather goods with new properties thanks to a methodically (scientifically) and empirically (in a laboratory environment) verified antibacterial mixture to be applied to the leather and fasteners used in the production of MS Sp. z o.o. goods.

Planned project outcomes:
a) Development of a base colloidal solution with antibacterial properties. A set of the 3 most adequate solutions tailored to the specific characteristics of the materials used by the company, along with preliminary formulas for their preparation for the most probable and highly effective antibacterial combinations applied to the leather and fasteners used by the company,
b) Conducting qualitative laboratory tests (durability of the coating on the target material and the materials' resistance to damage after the coating application),
c) Development of technology for applying the solution to surfaces, taking into account the varnishes used for dyeing the leather,
d) Test examination of the target prototype collection.
